Scripture:
I Chronicles 12:38. “All these men came in battle array to Hebron with the single purpose of making David the king over all Israel. In fact, everyone in Israel agreed that David should be their king.”
Observation:
David had the favor of the Lord on his life in an awesome way. When Saul died and someone needed to take the throne, it says here, “everyone in Israel agreed that David should be their king”. That is serious favor! David had fought with integrity, defended a king who was trying to kill him, and humbled himself before the Lord. At the right time, God raised him up.
Application:
When God’s favor matches God’s timing and His plan, nothing can stop what He wants to do. He literally put the whole nation behind David until they all wanted him to be their king. When we serve with integrity, do the right things, and humble ourselves before the Lord, He will raise us up at just the right time and His favor will be on our lives.
Prayer:
Father, help me to follow You with integrity of heart. Work in and through my life for Your purposes. Help me to do Your will in every area of my life. I am Yours and want to walk in unmistakable favor.
