At God’s Discretion

Scripture:

I Chronicles 29:12. “Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength.”

Observation:

David was praying as he was preparing Solomon to take over leadership of Israel.  He was thanking the Lord for an incredible offering that the people brought to build the temple.  He says, “Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything.  Power and might are in Your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength.”  David understood where his blessings came from.

Application:

We need to realize where blessings come from.  It is the Lord who raises up and pus down.  It is the Lord who blesses financially.  It is the Lord who has all power and strength.  Our job is to love, honor, and serve the Lord with our whole heart.  At His discretion, people are blessed.

Prayer:

Father, You have the ability to bless my life beyond measure.  You have everything!  It all belongs to You.  At Your discretion, You can do whatever it takes to bless Your people.  I submit myself to You. Bless my life and let my family be blessed in every way.
