Return Home and Tell

Scripture:

““Return to your home and your family, and tell them all the wonderful things God has done for you.” So the man went away and preached to everyone who would listen about the amazing miracle Jesus had worked in his life.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭8:39‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Observation:

Jesus had just cast a legion of demons from this man and the entire area was amazed.  He asked Jesus if he could follow Christ wherever He went and Jesus replied to him that he must return home and tell them everything God had done for him.  Then it says, “so he went away and preached to everyone who would listen”.

Application:

WHen God does something wonderful in our lives, He wants us to go back where we came from and tell everyone who will listen about His goodness and what He has done for us.  The power of this man’s testimony in his local area was more important than following Christ around.  Jesus wanted the man to go and tell his story.  We need to be telling the story of what Christ has done for us.

Prayer:

Lord, let me be a teller of Your story.  Help me to be a bold witness for You.  Empower me to live a life of witness in my local community.  Help me to never be ashamed of the Gospel, but to boldly proclaim Your goodness in my generation.

Yours,
Jeff

Because of Your Word

Scripture:

““Master,” Peter replied, “we’ve just come back from fishing all night and didn’t catch a thing. But if you insist, we’ll go out again and let down our nets because of your word.””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭5:5‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Observation:

Peter understood fishing much better than Jesus did.  He knew where to fish, when to fish, and how to fish.  When Jesus told him to go out again and put out their nets, he could have really had an attitude, instead he thought, “maybe He knows something I don’t”.  He had seen Jesus working some miracles at this point and decided to listen to His word.

Application:

Today, we are really good at studying situations and best practices to see what we need to do.  We feel we know exactly what is best for our lives so when Jesus speaks to us, we only listen if we feel it fits in with our plans.  I need to trust God and do things because of His word and not because I have studied the situation and I know what is best.  At His word, everything changes.  At His word, mountains move.  At His word, situations we have studied and planned for can be transformed.  I need to trust His word instead of my planning and preparation.  he is the kings f the Universe.

Prayer:

Father, help me to listen to Your word.  Open my ears to hear and my eyes to see what You are doing.  Help me to rely more and more on You and less on me and my ideas, thoughts and plans.  You are trustworthy.  Help me to trust You more.

Yours,
Jeff

Believe the Word

Scripture:

“Great favor is upon you, for you have believed every word spoken to you from the Lord.””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭1:45‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Observation:

When Mary and Elizabeth met and shared what had happened in their lives concerning their pregnancies, the baby in Elizabeth’s womb jumped and kicked and was filled with the Holy Spirit.  Elizabeth told Mary, “Great favor is upon you, for you have believed every word spoken to you from the Lord.”  Apparently favor and believing God’s words go together.

Application:

Sometimes I have received prophetic words from people and thought, “you have the wrong person”.  That can’t happen to me.  Rather than simply believing the prophetic word, I have questioned how and why.  I need to respond to God’s prophetic words with belief and not questions.  I need to believe that God will do what He says He will do.  I need an increase in faith for my own life.  I have a lot of faith for others, but not as much for myself.

Prayer:

Father, let me believe Your words concerning my life.  Help me to see myself as You see me and help me to believe all You have spoken.  I want to be a man of faith and walk out Your plan for my life.  I am Yours.  Help me to walk in obedience to Your words and to fully and completely believe them, then let Your favor be on my life in increasing measure.

Yours,
Jeff

God’s Eternal Desire

Scripture:

“I will live among you, and I will not despise you. I will walk among you; I will be your God, and you will be my people.”
‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭26:11-12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Observation:

God was very clear with His people Israel that He desperately wanted them to follow and obey Him so that they could walk in His blessing and see His goodness.  If they would just obey Him, He would bless their land, their crops, their fields, and protect them from their enemies.  He desired to live among them and not despise them.  He wanted to be their God and for them to be His people.

Application:

This is still the heart of God.  He is looking for a people who will be completely His.  He desires people who will follow Him completely and walk in His ways.  His promise still works.  He will bless those who walk in obedience and put Him first in all things.  He is faithful when His people are faithful.  My job is to follow Him with all my heart.  His part is the pour out the blessings.

Prayer:

Father, I want to walk in Your ways and follow You wholeheartedly.  I desire for You to be my God and I want to be Your Son.  I want to fully fulfill Your will in my life, the church You have given me, and in my family.  Help me to hear Your voice and to do what You are speaking at all times.  I am Yours.

Yours Forever,
Jeff

The Blood of Jesus

Scripture:

“for the life of the body is in its blood. I have given you the blood on the altar to purify you, making you right with the Lord. It is the blood, given in exchange for a life, that makes purification possible.”
‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭17:11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Observation:

Here in Leviticus Law, one can see the importance of the blood.  It says that the life of the body is in the blood and that God had given the blood to purify us.  Then he goes on to say that “the blood, given in exchange for a life, that makes purification possible.”  The blood for a life makes us pure.  Jesus blood, exchanged for our lives, makes purification possible.

Application:

We must come to understand that it is the blood of Jesus, in exchange for my life, that makes me pure.  I am not pure by my good works or my good deeds.  I am pure because Jesus exchanged my life for His blood.  I am clean and pure because of the blood of Jesus and nothing I could have done.  In the exchange, the old me dies and the new me is risen with Christ.  It is then He living in me, the hope of glory.  Everything good thing in my life is because of Jesus and His blood.

Prayer:

Lord, let me never take the blood of Jesus for granted.  Help me to live a life that pleases You.  You made the great exchange for me and I am grateful.  Thank You for accepting me.  Thank You for paying the price for my sins.  Thank You for exchanging my life for Your blood.  May my praise and thanksgiving level grow stronger and stronger because of understanding the power of Your blood.

Yours Forever,
Jeff

Don’t Defile the Tabernacle

Scripture:

““This is how you will guard the people of Israel from ceremonial uncleanness. Otherwise they would die, for their impurity would defile my Tabernacle that stands among them.”
‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭15:31‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Observation:

All three chapters in today’s reading were about cleansing something that had become defiled.  Whether it was a person with a skin disease, a flow of blood, a house that had mildew, etc., if there was something that made it unclean, it had a process in order to be called clean again.  This final verse in this section says, “otherwise they would die, for thei impurity would defile my Tabernacle.”

Application:

God went to great lengths to make sure people were clean when they entered His Tabernacle.  He made sure they were not contaminated in any way because they would die if they entered His presence contaminated by anything.  His desire was a pure people who could enter His presence uncontaminated.  My body is now the Temple of the Holy Spirit.  I need to realize the awesomeness of that and make sure I don’t live in a way that contaminates the body He dwells in.  Holiness must be in my life.

Prayer:

Father, You are holy!  You are awesome!  Help me to walk in purity at all times and to live a life that honors You.  Help me to live in a way that pleases You and makes You feel welcome.  Cleanse me from anything that You would not want.  I am Yours.

Jeff

Consecrated

Scripture:

“For I am the Lord your God. You must consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy. So do not defile yourselves with any of these small animals that scurry along the ground.”
‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭11:44‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Observation:

God goes into extreme detail about what His children can eat and not eat and how to be considered holy by Him.  He has always looked for a people who would be fully and completely His.  He has always looked for a people who would be fully consecrated to Him.  In the Old Testament that was accomplished through following all of the Laws, in the New Testament, Jesus fulfilled the Law so we can be considered holy.

Application:

Even though Jesus paid the price for our cleansing, we must realize that God still is looking for a people who are consecrated to Him.  Though He doesn’t now accept us on our performance of religious Laws, we should strive to live a life of holiness because we know that is His desire for us.  I want to live a life that God smiles on and says, “that’s my son.  Doesn’t he look like me?”

Prayer:

Lord, let my life be consecrated fully and completely to You.  Thank you for fulfilling the Law and giving me access to You.  Help me to live a life that honors You and fulfills Your desires.  Help me to be consecrated more and more to You and Your will as I endeavor to serve You.  You are worthy of my very best!

Yours,
Jeff

Fire From Heaven

Scripture:

“Fire blazed forth from the Lord’s presence and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. When the people saw this, they shouted with joy and fell face down on the ground.”
‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭9:24‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Observation:

Aaron and his sons did everything the Lord had instructed them to in order to be ready to serve as priests for the people of Israel.  They prepared themselves, the offerings, and everything precisely how the Lord wanted it.  When they did it God’s way, the fire blazed forth from the Lord’s presence and consumed the offerings.  People saw it and shouted and fell face down before the Lord.

Application:

God’s fire falls on obedience.  He has a way of doing things and He wants us to do things His way, not our own.  When we do things His way, He shows up with fire and great glory.  We should prepare ourselves as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to God.  We should offer ourselves to Him continually and then believe that He will send the fire to consume the sacrifice.  our sacrifice...His fire.

Prayer:

Lord God Almighty, help me to align myself with You more and more.  Let me offer You the sacrifice You want in every part of my life.  Teach me to live a life that pleases You and brings Your glory and manifested presence.  I want to see Your fire fall and consume the sacrifice.  I give myself to You.  Lost Your glory fall in my life and through my life.  I am Yours.

When You Realize It

Scripture:

““Or suppose you unknowingly touch something that makes a person unclean. When you realize what you have done, you must admit your guilt.”
‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭5:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Observation:

Here in Leviticus are a list of laws about when you unknowingly touch something that makes you unclean or do something unknowingly.  It says, when you realize what you have done, you must admit your guilt.

Application:

Generally, we like to get away with whatever we can in life.  If nobody notices or gets hurt, then we don’t feel like we need to repent.  Here we see that even if we don’t know that we did something wrong, but realize we have, we must confess and admit our guilt.  This shows me the seriousness of sin in our lives.  I want to be more sensitive about the things I “unknowingly” do.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, You are my teacher, my guide, my revealer, and my strength.  Make me senstive to anything I am doing unknowingly that would hinder my relationship with You or others.  Increase my sensitivity of things that I am unknowingly doing that are hurting You or those around me.  I want to live a life that truly honors You in every way.

Yours,
Jeff

Working With the Lord

Scripture:

“And the apostles went out announcing the good news everywhere, as the Lord himself consistently worked with them, validating the message they preached with miracle-signs that accompanied them!”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:20‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Observation:

Jesus told His disciples to go into all the world and preach the Good News.  After His resurrection and ascension, they did, but they did not preach the Good News alone, He Himself consistently worked with them.  Jesus validated the message the disciples preached with miracle-signs that accompanied them.

Application:

I don’t want to just preach Good News in my own power.  I want Jesus to work with me like He did with the disciples.  I want Jesus to show up and validate what I preach with miracle-signs.  I want people to encounter Jesus in a real way.  I desire to work with Jesus to take His Good News to the ends of the earth.  I long for Jesus to show up and prove to those I speak to that He is alive and well.

Prayer:

Lord, I love You and have given my life to the proclamation of Your Good News.  I never want to do this alone.  I want You to work with me, confirming what I am saying about You.  I want to speak right, walk right, talk right, and then have You come and validate what is being said.  Help me to get my part right and then trust You to come and validate what has been said.  Work with me I pray.

Yours,
Jeff

God’s Word

Scripture:

“The earth and sky will wear out and fade away before one word I speak loses its power or fails to accomplish its purpose.””
‭‭Mark‬ ‭13:31‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Observation:

Jesus told His disciples near the end of His life that heaven and earth will wear out and fade away before one word He speaks would lose its power or fail to accomplish its purpose.  When God speaks... it will come to pass.  God’s word is powerful and accomplishes what He wants it to.

Application:

If nothing can stop the Word of God from coming true, then we have a word we can trust.  We can place our trust in His written word.   It will accomplish what He says it will accomplish.  It will do what it is sent to do.  I need to trust God’s word over my thoughts, feelings, or experiences.  I need to trust the written word of God more and more and live a life of faith that truly stands on God’s words that never fail to lose their power and accomplish their purposes.

Prayer:

Lord, teach me to trust Your words more and more in my life.  Your words are true and accurate.  What You say, I can put my faith and trust in.  Help me to live by faith and not by sight.  Teach me to walk according to Your word every day.

Yours Forever,
Jeff

A Different Model

Scripture:

“You are to lead by a different model. If you want to be the greatest one, then live as one called to serve others. The path to promotion and prominence comes by having the heart of a bond-slave who serves everyone.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭10:43-44‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Observation:

Here Jesus is talking to His disciples about leadership in His Kingdom.  He tells them they are to lead by a different model.  They are live as those who serve others.  He tells them that the path to prominence and promotion comes by having the heart of a bond-slave who serves everyone.  The servant of all will be promoted in God’s kingdom.

Application:

Leadership in God’s kingdom comes through service.  My job as a leader is to serve others, not to rule over others.  I need to learnt to serve other’s vision and help them reach their potential.  My desires need to be about helping others achieve what God is putting in their hearts.  My vision needs to be about helping others get to their vision.

Prayer:

Lord, I hear Your speaking recently along these lines.  Teach me to release people into their potential in You.  Help me to invest in others and to see their gifts and callings, and to enable them to get where they are suppose to be in Your Kingdom.  Help me to live a life of investing in those Your send to me.  Let those I serve do great things in Your kingdom.’

Preserve the Peace

Scripture:

“Salt is excellent for seasoning. But if salt becomes tasteless, how can its flavor ever be restored? Your lives, like salt, are to season and preserve. So don’t lose your flavor, and preserve the peace in your union with one another.””
‭‭Mark‬ ‭9:50‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Observation:

Jesus tells His disciples that their lives, like sale are to season and preserve.  He goes on to tell them to preserve the peace in their union with one another.  He said our lives are to be tasteful and should preserve the peace.  Our attitudes and actions either add zest and flavor or take it away.  They either preserve peace or destroy peace.  We are to be peacemakers.

Application:

Peacemakers are unity builders and where there is unity, there will be powerful demonstrations of the Kingdom of God.  Just before this, the disciples came to Jesus and said there were others preaching in His name and that He should stop them.  Jesus said if they were not against us, they were for us.  He was building unity in the body and we need to be about the same.  I want to walk in peace and bring unity into the body of Christ.  I want to live a salty life.

Prayer:

Lord God Almighty, help me to be a peacemaker in Your Body.  Enable me to demonstrate Your love and acceptance of those who are different than me.  Help me to promote peace and build unity at greater levels.  Open doors for me to be a bridge builder in Your body.

Slipped Away

Scripture:

“So he dispersed the crowd, said good-bye to his disciples, then slipped away to pray on the mountain.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭6:46‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Observation:

Jesus and His disciples were overwhelmed with all the people following them at all times.  They needed a break from the crowd, so Jesus sent His disciples on a boar to go across the Sea of Galilee and He slipped away to pray on the mountain.  Even though He was the Son of God, He found a way to slip away for prayer.

Application:

If Jesus, the Son of God, needed to slip away to pray, how much more do we need the same?  When my life gets out of control with busyness, I need to learn this principle and do it.  The busier I get the more I need to slip away for time with the Father.  Life has gotten very busy recently and I need to slip away, turn off the cell phone, and spend some time with my Father.

Prayer:

Lord God, help me learnt to slip away for time with You.  As things get busier in my life, help me to implement this practice.  Teach me to walk with You closer and closer.  I want to know You and I realize You are my source for life and everything I need.  In my busyness, help me to slip away just to be with You.

Yours,
Jeff

The Fulness of the Kingdom

Scripture:

“His message was this: “At last the fulfillment of the age has come! It is time for the realm of God’s kingdom to be experienced in its fullness! Turn your lives back to God and put your trust in the hope-filled gospel!””
‭‭Mark‬ ‭1:15‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Observation:

Jesus told the people of His day to turn back to God and put their trust in the help-filled Gospel.  He said that it was time to experience the fulness of God’s kingdom.  Jesus inaugurated the fullness of His kingdom.  When Jesus operated in the fulness of the Kingdom, powerful results were seen everywhere He went.

Application:

My heart longs to see the fulness of the power of God and the Kingdom of God in effect.  I want to walk like Jesus walked and do what he did.  He said we would do greater things that He did if we believed.  I need to seek God more and more and believe more and more to see the fulness of the Kingdom in operation now.  I believe it is fully possible to walk as Jesus walked, I just need to see it and walk in it.

Prayer:

Father, Your kingdom come!  Let us see the fulness of Your kingdom power and authority once again in the earth.  Let me live a life that honors You and demonstrates the power of Your kingdom.  Teach me to walk in kingdom authority and to work with You more and more.  I long to see Your kingdom.

God Describes Himself

Scripture:

“The Lord passed in front of Moses, calling out, “Yahweh! The Lord! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭34:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Observation:

When a person introduces themselves, you can pick up on who they are and what they see as the most important things in their lives.  Here, God introduces Himself to Moses and says to him, “The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.”  This is God’s self-description.

Application:

We can trust in the Lord our God.  He is full of compassion and mercy.  he is slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.  His love never fails!  His mercies are new every morning.  He is the faithful God who is always compassionate.  We don’t have to ever question God’s personality or wonder if He loves us.  We can be confident in trusting Him with our lives.  Even when things don’t appear to be going well, He knows every detail and will turn it into something good in our lives.  We simply need to learn to trust Him.

Prayer:

Father, you have been so good to me throughout the years of my life.  You are incredible!  You are my rock and my fortress.  I find my solace in You.  You are my strength and my redeemer.  You are faithful and patient with me.  Your love never fails me.  Lead me today.  Talk to me today.  I want to know You more each day.

His Presence is Crucial To Me

Scripture:

“How will anyone know that you look favorably on me—on me and on your people—if you don’t go with us? For your presence among us sets your people and me apart from all other people on the earth.””
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭33:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Observation:

Moses told the Lord here that he wanted the Lord to go with them into the Promised Land and on the journey to it.  He said, “It is Your presence among us sets your people and me apart from all the other people on the earth.”  The presence of the Lord sets us apart as His followers.  It was the presence of the Lord, not Moses’ army, that caused his enemies to fear him and his people to follow him.

Application:

God’s presence is crucial in ministry at all levels.  When His presence is not discernible, we are just doing some good teaching and music in church.  When the presence of the Lord comes, people know it, and they stand in awe.  As a minister of the Gospel, my goal must be to have the presence of the Lord there strongly at every ministry opportunity.  It is His presence that sets us apart and makes us different.

Prayer:

Father, I want Your presence to be with me at all times.  Not just behind a pulpit, but 24/7.  I want to walk with You at higher levels each day.  Show me how to host Your presence at greater dimensions. I want Your people to encounter You more and more.  I want them to meet You personally and follow You wholeheartedly.

Priestly Intercession

Scripture:

““In this way, Aaron will carry the names of the tribes of Israel on the sacred chestpiece over his heart when he goes into the Holy Place. This will be a continual reminder that he represents the people when he comes before the Lord.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭28:29‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Observation:

God had Moses and his team make a chest piece that would be worn by the high priest when he went into the Holy Place.  He designed it so that the names of the tribes would be worn over his heart when he entered the Holy Place so that he would have a reminder that he represents the people when he comes before the Lord.

Application:

Today, God doens’t require us to wear special clothing to come into His presence, but I think the principle applies that we are to represent people before the Lord.  When we come into His presence, we should be carrying the people we serve and love to the Lord and interceding for them.  In the New Covenant, we are a kingdom of priests and should carry our people to the Lord.

Prayer:

Lord, let this reading be a reminder to me that I represent the people I serve before You.  Help me to spend more time praying for them and interceding for them.  Teach me to carry them before Your throne.  Remind me to pray for the needs of our people more and more.

Yours,
Jeff

The Fire Must Never Go Out

Scripture:

“The lampstand will stand in the Tabernacle, in front of the inner curtain that shields the Ark of the Covenant. Aaron and his sons must keep the lamps burning in the Lord’s presence all night. This is a permanent law for the people of Israel, and it must be observed from generation to generation.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭27:21‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Observation:

God told Moses here that they needed to build a lamp stand that would go just outside the Holy do holies.  The priests job was to keep the lamps burning all night in the Lord’s presence.  This was to be a permanent law from generation to generation.

Application:

Jesus said that we are like a lampstand that gives off light.  We are not to hide our light, but share our light everywhere we go.  The fire in us that produces light must never go out.  We must continually burn for the Lord and allow His light to shine through us.  To keep the fire burning, we need time in His presence daily.

Prayer:

Lord, let me reflect Your glory all day every day.  Help me to shine with Your presence and let my flame never go out..  I belong to You.  Fill my life to overflowing with Your Spirit, which is the eternal flame that never goes out.  I am Yours.  Fill me today and help me to shine for You all day long.

The Enemy of My Enemies

Scripture:

“But if you are careful to obey him, following all my instructions, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and I will oppose those who oppose you.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭23:22‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Observation:

As God was giving the law to Moses, He told him that if the people were careful to obey Him, He would be an enemy to their enemies.  He went on to say He would oppose those who oppose them.  This was all based upon the obedience of the people and them following His instructions.

Application:

Our love for God is demonstrated through our obedience to what He calls us to do.  When we walk in obedience, we can expect God to be the enemy of our enemies and to oppose those who oppose us.  Obedience to the Lord is the foundation of all in the spiritual life.  When we walk in obedience, we are telling God we trust Him and His ways over our own.  I must learn to walk in absolute obedience to the Lord and watch Him bring the victory in my life.

Prayer:

Father, I love You and want to serve You well.  Teach me to trust You and Your ways more and more.  Help me to fulfill Your will in my generation.  Help me to leave nothing undone that You want me to do.  Convict me when I’m getting off course or doing my own thing.  Show me the way and empower me to do it with all my heart.

Yours,
Jeff

Teachable

Scripture:

“Moses listened to his father-in-law’s advice and followed his suggestions.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭18:24‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Observation:

This simple verse says so much about Moses and his humility.  He was leading close to 3,000,0000 people in the wilderness.  He was their judge and every case came to him.  He judged the people from morning to night and his father-in-law saw this and approached him about delegating to others and only taking the very difficult cases.  Moses listened to wisdom from his father-in-law and followed his advice.

Application:

Many times as a leader, it is humbling to ask for advice or to listen to others.  Sometimes we are encouraged to lead and feel we must make all the decisions or we are not really leading.  God wants us to remain humble and teachable at all times.  He raises the humbles and fights against the proud.  I need to walk in humility and receive counsel from those God has placed around me.  I need to recognize their gifting and callings.

Prayer:

Lord, help me to have a teachable spirit and a humble attitude.  Even when I feel like I know what is best, help me to listen to those around me.  Moses, the leader of millions, walked in humility and received teaching from someone who had never been in his shoes and who hadn’t witnessed how God had worked through Moses up to that point.  Help me to walk in humility and lead well.

Yours,
Jeff

The Lord Who Heals You

Scripture:

“He said, “If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in his sight, obeying his commands and keeping all his decrees, then I will not make you suffer any of the diseases I sent on the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you.””
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭15:26‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Observation:

When Israel came out of Egyptian captivity, the Lord drowned the Egyptian army in the Red Sea.  He demonstrated His power to His people.  In this passage, He makes a covenant with His people and tells them that if they will listen carefully to His voice and do what is right by keeping His commands and decrees, He would not all them to suffer the diseases He had put on the Egyptians, then He says, “I am the Lord who heals you.”

Application:

Here we see one of the names the Lord gave Himself, Yahweh Rapha, the Lord who heals you.  He gives His people a covenant here that tells them if they do things His way, He will be their healer and they would not suffer sickness and disease.  This covenant was based on carefully listening to the voice of the Lord and obeying accurately what He said.  If I want to see a greater level of healing in my life, I must have a greater level of obedience and a greater knowledge of His will.

Prayer:

Lord, I want to see You healing power flow in my life more and more.  Open my ears and eyes spiritually to know exactly Your will in every situation.  As I follow Your will, let Your healing flow in and through my life.  You are the Lord my healer!  I want to see the day when everyone is healed and Your name is exalted as the healer once again.  I want the doctors to be amazed by Your healing power.  I want my generation to see Your healing power once again.

Yours,
Jeff
