Finding God

Scripture:

II Chronicles 15:15. “All in Judah were happy about this covenant, for they had entered into it with all their heart. They earnestly sought after God, and they found him. And the Lord gave them rest from their enemies on every side.”

Observation:

Here we see that all Judah entered a covenant to seek the Lord and they did it with all their heart.  It says they earnestly sought after God and the found Him.  At that point, they had rest from all their enemies.  God blessed their pursuit of Him in wonderful ways.

Application:

There is incredible blessing for seeking the Lord wholeheartedly.  He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.  When He is found, He gives victory over the enemy and peace on every side.  God blesses those who seek Him.  As we enter a season of prayer and fasting, may the blessing of God overtake our church, our homes and our region.

Prayer:

Father, as we enter this week into 21 days of prayer and fasting.  Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in the earth as it is in heaven.  Bless your people who seek your diligently in this time.  Heal the sick, bring multitudes into Your kingdom, and establish your people.
