Meditate and Enunciate

 Scripture:

“I will meditate on your majestic, glorious splendor and your wonderful miracles. Your awe-inspiring deeds will be on every tongue; I will proclaim your greatness.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭145‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Observation:

The Psalmist says here that he will meditate on God’s majestic, glorious, splendor and his wonderful miracles. First we are to meditate on God’s awesomeness and His miracles, then we are to tell about them. It says that every tongues will proclaim God’s awe-inspiring deeds. When you meditate on something long enough, you will begin to talk about it.

Application:

We proclaim what we meditate on. If we meditate on how bad things are, out of our mouth will come much negativity. When we meditate on the goodness of God, His power, His miracles, His incredible deeds, we are much more likely to talk about them. Jesus said that out of the abundance of our heart, our mouth speaks. We must dwell on the right things, then we will speak and live the right things.

Prayer:

Lord God Almighty,

You are beyond comprehension. You are too glorious for words! Help me to meditate on Your goodness and all You have done for me and in the word of God. Teach me to think on these things, and then to speak these things. Let my mouth speak of Your power and Your love. Let my heart dwell on those things.

Yours,

Jeff
