God of the Impossible

Scripture:

“Then he went out to the source of the water, and cast in the salt there, and said, “Thus says the LORD: ‘I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barrenness.’ ””
‭‭II Kings‬ ‭2:21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Observation:

Elisha had received the mantle of Elijah.  People came to Elisha and said the land wouldn’t produce and the water was bad, therefore they were in distress.  Elisha had them bring him salt and went to the source of the river and put the salt in.  He then spoke to them and said that the Lord healed the water and it wouldn’t no longer produce death and barrenness.  God can take natural things and do the supernatural.

Application:

God is the God of the impossible.  Elisha wasn’t a scientist, but a prophet.  He didn’t know the laws of chemicals, but he knew his God.  He obeyed God and amazed the scholars who couldn’t figure out what to do.  Nothing is beyond our God.  He is able to stop Coronavirus in its tracks.  He is able to stop the rioting in our streets.  He is able to bring peace into any situation.  He use needs someone who walk s by faith and obeys His voice.  I want to walk in faith and believe God for miracles that bless people.

Prayer:

Father, heal our land.  Demonstrate Your power among us and bring healing to our divided land.  Give us the solution to COVID 19.  Show Your power and goodness by healing radical wounds.  Reveal Yourself in power to this generation.  We need You and ask You to come and work among Your people.  Help me to walk with You and to be part of what You are doing.

Yours,
Jeff
