All In

Scripture:

II Kings 23:25  "Before him there was no king like him who turned to the Lord with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; nor did any like him arise after him".

Observation:

When King Josiah read the law of the Lord and figured out why his people and land were under the judgement of God, he turned to the Lord with everything.  He was never a halfhearted leader.  When he went after God, he went "All In".  With him, it was all or nothing.

Application:

If you are going to serve God, it is best to go "All In".  God loves it when His people turn to Him with all their heart, all their soul and with all their might like Josiah did.  We must choose who we are going to serve and serve with all our strength.  Halfheartedness never got anyone anywhere.  When you go for it, you've got to go for it.

Prayer:

Father, help me to live a life that honors You completely.  Let there be no compromise in my heart.  Fill me with Your Spirit and let my heart long after You completely.  I want to serve You well and see Your glory fill the entire earth.
