And They Went Out

Scripture:

Mark 16:20  "And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the signs that followed".

Observation:

When Jesus rose from the dead, He met with His disciples and told them to go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.  What did they do?  They went and preached everywhere, and Christ worked with them, confirming their message with signs and wonders.

Application:

Many people want to see signs and wonders, but they don't want to go.  Only when we "go" do the signs and wonders happen.  When we make obedience to the Great Commission our priority and do the "Go" of the Gospel, Christ will work with us in the same way He worked with the early church.  "Go" and "declare" and watch the word be confirmed.

Prayer:

Father, give me opportunity today to share Christ with someone.  Help me to be constantly on Your Mission in the world.  Help me truly live out Your mission in the world in 2015.  Your mission, my mandate!
