Unusual Miracles

Scripture:

Acts 19:11 "God gave Paul the power to perform unusual miracles."

Observation:

This thought goes on to say that cloth that had touched his skin would be taken to people and they would be healed or demons would come out of people.  God backed up the message of Paul with signs and wonders.  People can't deny a miracle.

Application:

I want to see the Lord confirm His word more and more with signs and wonders and unusual miracles.  Many people won't believe unless they see the goodness and power of God in action.  The intellectual will argue doctrine, history, etc, but they can't argue a true miracle.  I believe our generation needs to see God work in miracles again.

Prayer:

Father, confirm Your word with miracles.  When the Gospel is preached, let it be backed up with signs, wonders, healings, deliverances, etc.  Let people see with their eyes and hear with their ears exactly how awesome You are.  Let my skeptical generation see Your glory Lord.  Show up in power and touch people in a real way.
