Overcome Evil With Good

Scripture:

Romans 12:21 "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good".

Observation:

Paul tells us here to love our enemies and to bless those that don't like us.  He goes on to say that we cannot be overcome with evil, but we are to overcome evil with good.

Application:

There will always be people in our lives that will try to overtake us with evil, but we are to respond by doing good to them.  Good always wins over evil.  When we are hurt, rather than hurt back, we are to treat people well.  Light always casts out darkness.

Prayer:

Father, live though me.  Love through me.  Bless people through my life.  Let me overcome evil with good and a carrier of good things.
