Too Important

Scripture:

“If you think you are too important to stoop down to help another, you are living in deception.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6:3‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Observation:

Paul was writing to the Galatians about the danger of getting into religion instead of walking in step with the Spirit and freedom.  Here, he tells them that if they think they are too important to stoop down and help someone, they are deceived.  Real freedom serve people.

Application:

Serving others should be the outcome of a life in the Spirit.  Jesus came not to be served, but to serve.  Following Jesus means we should live like He lived.  We should never think we are too good to stoop down and serve people.  Our lives are to be lives of service to our King and to His people.

Prayer:

Father, let me never get above serving others and stooping down to help them out.  Let my life be an example of a life of service, preferring others above self.  Teach me to walk as You walked, Jesus.  Help me to serve like You served and live as You lived.  I am yours.
