God is Mighty

Scripture:

Job 36:5  "Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: He is mighty in strength of understanding".

Observation:

Elihu, one of Job's friends, said the above words about the Lord.  He told Job that God was mighty and He didn't despise any.  He went on to say that God is mighty and strength of understanding.  In other words, God understands us and doesn't despise us.

Application:

We can walk in confidence in our relationship with God because His word has described Him to us well.  We know He is loving and compassionate and that His mercy s great.  We know His faithful love never fails.  We can be confident that He knows us and that He loves us right where we are.  He understands who we are and why we are like we are.  He chooses to love us anyway.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for reminding me of your love today.  Thank You for being mighty in strength of understanding.  Thank You for being patient with me and to accepting me.  You are amazing and I can walk in confidence because of your incredible faithfulness.
